New Cats, New kits, New Apprentices

"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey join beneath Blazestone for a Clan meeting." He yowled the Clan meeting summon.
Guarded gazes flashed to the three new cats sitting below the Blazestone.
"What are they doing here?" hissed Darkpelt, his fur standing on end. "Haven't we let enough softies join BlazingClan?" He glanced at Frostbite, Tigerpaw, Lavakit, and Leopardcloud coldly.
"Yea!" Agreed someone from the back.
"I think we should send them back to the forest!" Shadowpaw retorted, trying to impress the the cat he looked up to, Darkpelt.
Darkpelt's eyes sparkled with glee that cats were agreeing with him.
"Enough!" yowled Sunstar, his eyes blazing angerily and a growl starting in his throat. "I have asked these cats to join, and they have accepted. We will treat them like they were born into this clan!" He shot Darkpelt a menacing stare.
Few cats ever saw Sunstar anger. Deep down, there was a fear. A fear the darkness would rise from within his clan and engulf his clanmates in it's shadows.
"Now, back to something important," he started, giving Silverheart and sympathetic glance. She must feel uncomfortable with cats blaming her not being born into BlazingClan. "
"Silverheart, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and protect and defend BlazingClan even at the cost of your life?"
"I do," she meowed, determined not to show the clan that she was weak.
Sunstar nodded his head, he then gazed up to the sky. Silverpelt was bright that moonhigh.
"This moonhigh we gather not only to welcome a new warrior but to name four new apprentices." He meowed and the two cats that had been with Silverheart stepped up on the Blazestone. Sunkit and Flarekit came walking confidently out. Their pelts touching and Brightsun following, taking a seat beside Midnightpelt.
"There mentors are going to have a fun time prying those to apart." An amused meow echoed from somewhere behind Brightsun. It was Darkpelt. He clearly enjoyed the clan cats then to non-clan cats. A hiss quieted him.
"By naming apprentices shows that BlazingClan is strong and will remain strong," meowed Sunstar.
"Come forward, you four." He said as he jumped from the Blazestone, a few fox-lengths from the four young cats.
"From this day forward, until they have earned their warrior names, these apprentices will be known as Flarepaw and Sunpaw." He meowed.
The two ginger toms' eyes sparkled with enthusiasim.
"Leopardcloud, you are ready for your first apprentice in BlazingClan. You will mentor Sunpaw. Teach him all you know." He nodded to the spotted she-cat.
"Flarepaw, your mentor will be Frostbite, teach him the strength and will to protect his clan, and the caring and sweetness that is binding are clan together." He meowed to the white she-cat not knowing the she-cat was evil.
"Your names will remain the same." She meowed to Lionpaw and Featherpaw. "Lionpaw, your mentors will be Hawktalon. Teach him courage and determination." He meowed. Hawktalon nodded and touched noses with Lionpaw.
"Featherpaw, your mentor will be Eternalwinds."
"Lastly, we welcome three new, healthy kits to BlazingClan. Stormbringer and her mate Wolfstorm had three beautiful kits earlier. Shadowkit, Pinekit, and Streamkit."
"Also, Wolfstorm and LeopardCloud, please a lead a border patrol. Viperstrike and I will lead a hunting patrol." He meowed, his muscles needed a nice run.
"That is all, clan dismissed."
